Michael Franklin founded and operates J. Michael’s Design, Inc. , a full-service design studio in Lexington, Kentucky. Michael has merged his talents and background in art, architecture and design into a tour de force of timeless interiors mixing elements from all genres of classic styles.

With nearly 28 years of experience, Michael has built a solid reputation as a highly versatile designer whose work is customized to meeting the needs of each client.  He is committed to the belief that all design should be “livable” design.
  
Michael is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Housing and Environmental Design with a Minor in Architecture.  His work has appeared in many regional publications, various design show houses and charitable events.
